Cockeyed Prawns

I can’t share all of the family secrets here with this one but the important parts are here and make for a fantastic appie!

Ingredients

  • Can of tomato soup
  • Sweet Onion
  • Bacon
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Prawns

Steps

  1. Cut up your bacon and onion into small chunks.
  2. Heat a saucepan with a small amount of oil and when hot add the bacon and onion. Cook until the bacon is just the way you like it.
  3. Add a can of tomato soup to the pan. If you find it too thick you can add some water to make the sauce go further.
  4. Season the sauce with cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Keep in mind that as the sauce cooks, the cayenne will become more potent.
  5. Add the prawns and cook just until no longer translucent.

Cut up a nice warm baguette for dipping!
